As a teacher of 20 years experience I know the worth and vital importance of teachers and the dependence the future of our planet places upon us teachers and all education practitioners. Sadly though, the education profession can take its toll upon its employees. It can be the most joyous of professions, but it can also be incredibly hard. It can take its toll on our health, fitness and wellbeing. It can wear you down, beat you up and spit you out if you let it. Teachers globally are by nature caring, nurturing people who more often than not put others before themselves. At Tenacity Health Coaching we put teachers first!
I live, breathe and love education. I passionately believe in the importance of education and have personal experience of the toll it can take upon our health. While student health, fitness and wellbeing is of course vital there are many many thousands of amazing teachers taking care of the students. But who looks after the teachers?

Hi! I'm an International Coaching Federation Certified Health Coach. I'm also a teacher, a husband, a parent of three great kids, a runner, a fitness enthusiast and someone who is passionate about helping others to do, feel and be their best!
As a professional teacher, I've always been interested in helping people get the best out of themselves. However, what I didn't realise is that you can't pour from an empty cup. Taking care of others can be draining and even harmful if you don't take care of yourself too.
By the time I realised this, I was extremely stressed, was in a very challenging teaching job and was suffering from a severe degenerative neck injury. In short, I was pretty well broken.
Fortunately I was lucky. I had great support from friends, family and colleagues as well as some successful medical intervention. Eventually I took up exercise, improved my nutrition and embarked on a journey of self discovery.
As a result, I have now run 9 marathons and an ultra marathon, lost some weight, gained loads of confidence and my self esteem is back. I'm currently in training to run 170km over two days (2 marathons a day, 2 days in a row) from Canberra to Moruya on the South Coast!
I know of so many people, many of them teachers who have similar stories and challenges. I chose to take control of my life, study and work really hard so that I can be the best I can be at all that I do.
I now love my life and want to help others to do likewise.
I truly believe that we can all do, feel and be better. All sessions can be done via phone internet or face to face depending on where you may be. I provide coaching that is curated to the client, is simple to implement and systematic. I provide the support and accountability to each of my clients to enable them to transform their lives by replacing health limiting habits with health enhancing ones.
Most coaching sessions are done via the phone or internet so can be done from the comfort of your home, office, holiday location or wherever you may be.
